COWS TURN PLANTS INTO MILK.
TURNS OUT FLORA CAN TOO!
THERE ARE 3 SIMPLE STEPS:
1. DAIRY FLORA
First we took milk’s essential genes and added them
to microflora – a tiny organism that comes from nature
and can produce large amounts of pure protein.
Now, our dairy flora can use fermentation to convert plant sugar into milk proteins — whey and casein — that are nutritionally identical to those that come from cows, but without the downsides.
We call this flora-based dairy protein, since it comes from flora instead of animals.
3. FOODS YOU LOVE
We’re whipping up all kinds of delicious, animal-free dairy products — vegan and lactose-free versions of age-old favorites (like cheese, yogurt, and ice cream) for an entirely new generation of foods that address how we eat today and for years to come.
DOING MORE WITH LESS
Perfect Day dairy protein is made through the same fermentation techniques used for nearly 50 years to make many common food ingredients like vitamins, probiotics, and natural flavors.
Being flora-based means that Perfect Day’s protein is vegan, lactose-free and hormone free. Because no animals are involved in the process, our protein is produced with less energy, less water, less greenhouse gas emissions, and without the use of factory farms.
And unlike proteins which are made from soy, nuts or other plants, Perfect Day’s protein delivers the same nutrition and delicious taste and texture you’d expect from cow’s milk.
Perfect Day is pioneering the use of flora
to make our world kinder and greener.
